Panasonic P55 Max with 5000mAh battery Launched in India at Rs. 8,499

On Monday, Panasonic has launched a new smartphone called P55 Max; the new smartphone priced at Rs. 8,499, the main highlight of the phone is a massive 5000mAh battery. The phone will be available exclusively via Flipkart in Matte Black and Champagne Gold colour options.

In terms of specifications, Panasonic P55 Max runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and sports a 5.5” HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6737 SoC, and offers 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The P55 Max also supports OTG (USB on the go) for those who want more storage options.

As for the camera, The Panasonic P55 Max sports a 13MP rare camera with Quad-LED flash for improve low light photography. On the front, there is a 5MP front facing camera for talking selfies and making video calls.

For the Connectivity options, the Panasonic P55 Max comes with dual-SIM support, apart from that it comes with 4G VoLTE connectivity, OTG, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro USB 2.0, and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n. Sensors on board include accelerometer, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor. As mentioned above the smartphone is backed up by a huge 5000mAh battery, which could easily last a day or two of normal usage. The smartphone measures 152×72.6×8.7mm and weighs 180 grams.

Commenting on the launch, Pankaj Rana, Business Head of Mobility Division at Panasonic India, was quoted as saying, “In today’s connected world, smartphones have become the lifeline drawing parallels amongst work-life balance. The long lasting 5000mAh battery further ensures the seamless functioning without interruptions. We believe, P55 Max will be the quintessential solution-provider for individuals in the value-based smartphone segment.
