With many people considering the state pension to be too little to live on, Government plans to axe free NHS prescriptions for over 60s and increase the age that pensioners receive a free bus pass, have caused uproar.
Hundreds of angry Britons have taken to Express.co.uk to ask why the rules are different, depending on what part of the country people live in.
They are fuming that Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland residents can travel for free on the buses once they reach the age of 60, whereas in England it’s 66 soon to be 67.
