Travelers, we are two days away from the official release of v2.5 for Genshin, so we have two more days left with Ganyu and Zhongli before heading back back to Inazuma to await the arrival of Yae Miko, continue the storyline and resume the Traveler’s adventures in both Inazuma and Ekanomiya.
IGN has previously covered the v2.5 Livestream and now Mihoyo has released more information about the events and banners, here’s what we have to look forward to:

V2.5 Banners
Astute Amusement Yae Miko’ Limited Time Event Banner will appear in Phase I of v2.5, alongside reruns of three well-loved 4* characters in Thoma (Protector from Afar), Fischl (Prinzessin der Verurteilung) and Diona (Katzlein Cocktail). The Everbloom Violet banner will run from February 16, 2022 till March 8, 2022.
Phase 1 Weapon’s Banner features Kagura’s Verity, a 5* catalyst weapon for Yae, alongside the 5* Primordial Jade Cutter sword. Event exclusive 4* weapons for this phase will include: Wavebreaker’s Fin (Polearm), Sacrificial Sword (Sword), Rainslasher (Claymore), Eye of Perception (Catalyst), and The Stringless (Bow).
During the event wish, don’t forget to use the Epitomized Path to chart a course towards a promotional 5-star weapon, such as Kagura’s Verity (Catalyst) or Primordial Jade Cutter (Sword).
Three Realms Gateway Offering Event
Starting from February 17, 2022 10:00:00 AM and lasting till March 30, 2022, Travelers will need to complete the following objectives to be eligible to participate in the event:
- Reach Adventure Rank 30 or above
- Complete the Archon Quest: “Chapter II: Act II – Stillness, the Sublimation of Shadow”
- Complete the Ekanomiya World Quest “Erebos’ Secret”
Travelers must explore a new part of Ekanomiya and brave the darkness. Travelers will receive a special gadget, called the Bokuso Box, to guide the way and protect you from the corrosive effects of the realm. Completing objectives, unlocking Waypoints and Chests will give you upgrade materials for the Box which will increase your resistance to Darkness Corrosion and give you several other benefits. This event will reward players with Primogems, Crowns, Ascension and Talent Materials, and a new 4* Catalyst Weapon, the Oathsworn Eye.
Divine Ingenuity
To participate in this event, Travelers must complete the following criteria:
- Reach Adventure Rank 28 or above
- Complete the Archon Quest “Chapter I: Act III – A New Star Approaches”
During the event, help the Adventurers’ Guild to investigate a strange Domain. Complete the required tasks to obtain Primogems, Hero’s Wit, Talent Level-Up Materials, Mystic Enhancement Ore, and Mora.
Travelers get to design their own Domains and publish them to challenge other players. Players earn Adventure Coins in preset obstacle course Domains to gain access to fully customizable Domains with buffs, traps, terrains and timers.
New Quests
Three 5* characters Yae, Raiden and Kokomi will be heavily involved in the story of v2.5. Additionally, Raiden and Yae will receive character-specific world quests to access the following:
- Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter: Act II – Transient Dreams (Raiden Shogun)
Travelers must be AR 40+ and have completed Archon Quest Chapter II Act III: Omnipresence Over Mortals, as well as Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter: Act I to access this quest.
- Divina Vulpes Chapter: Act I – The Great Narukami Offering (Yae Miko)
Travelers must be AR 40+ and have completed Archon Quest Chapter II Act III: Omnipresence Over Mortals, as well as Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter: Act II to access this quest.
Into the Shadows
Sojourner’s Battle Pass is the free Battle Pass for all players. Gnostic Hymn can be purchased for $10 USD and will unlock a second tier for this BP Period. Any player that purchases Gnostic Hymn will also get an extra reward at BP Lv. 30 where they can choose one of the 4* weapons from the current BP Bounty, as well as limited time items: Travel Notes: Awakening (Namecard) and Blueprint: Gold-Inscribed Evil-Cleansing Banner (Furnishing Item).
