Philips 7900 smart TV with Ambilight, Dolby Vision, ATMOS support launched, price starts at Rs 99,990

Expanding its smart TVs portfolio in India, TPV Technology has announced the latest range of Android-based smart TV — Philips 7900 — in India. The new smart TV from the company comes with company’s patented Ambilight technology along with Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and 4K resolution support.

The Philips 7900 Ambilight TV series is available in three screen size variants including 70”, 65” and 55” and are available at Rs 1,89,990, Rs 1,49,990 Rs 99,990 respectively. The latest Philips TV will be available at select leading offline stores in India to begin with.

Philips 7900 smart TV comes with three sided ambience lights called Ambilight. The lights respond to the on-screen action for a better and immersive viewing experience.
The new Philips televisions come with a 4K Ultra HD LED display that claims to offer vivid picture quality with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support. The TV is also equipped with Dolby Atmos technology that powers the 20W speakers of the TV.
The company has also included Philips Pixel Precise Ultra HD Engine that designed to deliver better sharpness, increased depth perception, contrast, smooth natural motion and more details.
The TV runs Android 10 TV OS and supports most popular OTT apps including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ Hotstar and more.
The TV is also equipped with Google Chromecast, Bluetooth V5.0, 4 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, 1 Digital Audio port, 1 Headphone port and smart features like Built-in Google Assistant, Dual-Band Wi-Fi Support.
