Phillip Schofield narrowly avoids disastrous ‘flood’ at home due to Dancing On Ice absence | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV
This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield, 59, has taken to Instagram to reveal he experienced a very close call this morning. The star, who is currently stuck at home isolating after testing positive for Covid last week, discovered a leak in his ceiling, just before it had the chance to wreak more havoc on the building.
Phillip filmed water dripping into a big puddle on his wooden floorboards in view of his three million followers.
The ITV host was quick to point out that if he had been able to front Dancing On Ice with his co-star Holly Willoughby as planned, he could have returned to a flooded house.
He penned alongside the clip of the leak: “Life is full of small consolations.. if I hadn’t tested positive and had gone to @dancingonice the house would be flooded.”
Phillip then filmed water dripping from a spotlight, before highlighting the dangers this could pose.
