Gangubai Kathiawadi had earlier had its world premiere at the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival. The film stars Vijay Raaz, Ajay Devgn and Shantanu Maheshwari besides Alia and is directed by ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
