Poco could be gearing up for the launch of another F-series smartphone called Poco F5 5G which could launch soon in China. Though the company has not revealed any details about the handset yet, rumours about its display have surfaced online.
According to a report by Xiaomiui, Poco F5 5G is said to be the rebranded version of Redmi K60 5G. The smartphone is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2023. The handset is said to debut as Redmi K60 5G in China and later as Poco F5 5G in the Indian markets. Poco F5 5G will succeed the Poco F4 5G launched earlier this year.

The report claims that the device has a codename of “Mandrian”. Poco F5 5G is rumoured to sport an AMOLED display with 1440×3200 pixels resolution. The handset could offer 120Hz refresh rate with 1000 nits of brightness.
The smartphone is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Going by the model number that has surfaced as ‘23013PC75G/I’ – ‘23’ refers to year (2023), ‘01’ means January, ‘PC’ stands for Poco, ‘75’ refers to the model number ‘M11A’ and G/I refers to ‘Global’ / ‘India’.
