A new rampage of surprises is now live as Niantic has launched a new Pokemon Go in-game event called Stardust Blast. The said event offers a great opportunity players for a limited time. Aside from that, two new species of Pokemons from the Gen 4 has also been added into the game.

The Stardust Event gives players an opportunity to earn twice the normal amount of Stardust for capturing a Pokémon and hatching eggs. The developer has announced the event through a tweet including its schedule as it is only available for a limited time. The Stardust Blast event scheduled to run until 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET on November 13.

“Wishing for more Stardust, Trainers? Consider your wishes granted!  Starting now, we’re kicking off our first Stardust Blast event!  Trainers will now receive double Hatch Stardust and double Catch Stardust until November 13 at 1 p.m. PST.”, the company says on its tweet.

As we have mentioned above, two new species of Gen 4 Pokemon has also added in Pokemon Go.  The first one is Buizel, a water type Pokemon and is now available around the world as a Raid Battle.  But even though the Pokemon was already spotted in the game, Pokemongo.gamepress says that the new Gen 4 might have already been removed. The post reads as “NOTE: BUIZEL SPAWNS WERE REPORTED FOR A VERY SHORT TIME AND SEEMED TO HAVE DISAPPEARED, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT NIANTIC RELEASED THE WATER WEASEL AS A MISTAKE.”.

The second Pokemon is Budew, the pre-evolved form of Roselia, it can now be hatched from Eggs. The two new species of Pokemons just came at the right time as Niantic has recently rolled out the new Adventure Sync feature to most Pokemon Go players. This feature will make it much easier for players to hatch Eggs.

Aside from the brand new events and Pokemons, there is also an ongoing event happening now in Pokemon GO. Niantic has made two new Shiny Pokemon, Cubone and Ponyta, to celebrate the release of Ingress Prime. These Shiny variants are green and blue, and are only available for a limited time.

Giratina from the Gen 4 is still available until November 20 at Gyms, so be sure to use the remaining time to get a chance to catch Giratina. More updates are coming, so be stay tuned with TechnoCodex to be always updated.
