Pokemon UNITE is a free-to-play multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) title that has taken the mobile gaming world by storm. It’s a popular pick in the Esports scene and also famous in Indian gaming. Pokemon Unite Asia Champions League 2023 Finals is the next big Esports event for the game, and two teams from India will be representing the country in this competition.

Recently, New details about the finals have just been announced. The details suggest that the Pokemon Unite Asia Champions League Finals 2023 will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, between March 18 and 19. The playoffs will consist of six teams, with two teams from each regional league fighting for the biggest cut from the $86,000 Prize Pool.

The qualified teams from India league include Marcos Gaming and Revenant Esports. Hi5 and T2 from East Asia league and MYS and RISE from Southeast Asia League will also be battling it out in the upcoming event. On the first day of the event, the matches will be best-of-three in a single round-robin format, with the six teams divided into two groups, Group A and Group B.

The last two teams from both groups will be eliminated for the semi-finals. In the semi-finals, Group A leaders will be against Group B runners up and vice versa. The last two teams that survive will battle it out in a best-of-five format, where the victor will take home a whopping $30,000. While, second place gets $15,000, third would get $7,500, with the fourth placed and fifth placed team getting $5,000 and $1,500, respectively.

This is the first time Marcos Gaming will be representing India on an international stage for Pokemon UNITE. Revenant Esports on the other hand has represented India in the Pokemon UNITE World Championship last year, and the squad will be coming with some major international experience this time around.
