Pokémon GO players are provided with good but with little time chance to catch Zapdos today which is one of three global events happening under the ‘Pokémon GO Summer Tour 2018’ and each comes with matchless rewards for participating players.
After Zapdos Day starts player want to spin a photodisc and grab five free raid passes, which will give you five chances to catch a Zapdos and if you want more or continue playing extra raid passes could be bought from in-game Pokémon GO store. The extra candy bonuses mean that you’ll also be a getting 6 candy from every Zapdos you catch, meaning you won’t have to use as much valuable rare candy to level them.
Zapdos is returning to in-game raids for three hours only today giving everyone a chance to round out their Gen 1 Pokédex and build out their legendary collection with a chance at getting a Shiny variant of the rare creature.
The free-to-play trainers would also be seen in action. During the period if one catches any Zapdos window will come with Thunder Shock, a solid fast move that will make a leveled Zapdos caught one of the most effective Electric-type attackers in the game. Already Zapdos one of the only genuinely useful Legendaries available; Shinies have always been valuable, but ever since trading hit the game it has turned a kind of top-level currency but really it is the chance at a shiny variant that keeps people thrilled.

- Europe, Middle East, Africa, India: 10 am to 1 pm UK (BST), 11 am to 2 pm CET
- North America, South America, and Greenland: 11 am to 2 pm PST, 2 pm to 5 pm EST
- Asia Pacific: 12 pm to 3 pm JST
