Today, Google finally took the wraps off the Google Pixel 7 series. There weren’t too many surprises considering the number of leaks we saw leading up to the event, but now we know everything for certain.
Overall, the Pixel 7 series is an iterative upgrade over the Pixel 6 series. The designs are similar, the pricing is exactly the same, and the specs haven’t changed much. The new Tensor G2 chipset features a lot of the same architecture, too. However, the cameras saw some nice upgrades, there are a few new software tricks, and Google is also throwing in some nifty perks, such as a promise of free VPN access coming soon.
