EA sports has lots of sports gaming franchises in their roster and one of the popular ones is UFC. The UFC series of games has provided the players with an experience of how it feels to battle it out with only their fists in the octagon. It has offered a wide roster of the most popular fighters in the sport with moves ranging from all forms of martial arts that exist.
The latest instalment to the series, UFC 4 was released in August of 2020, before the time of the next-gen consoles, so the game has not received a graphics and gameplay mechanics enhancement and does not seem like it will in the near future. For all the upgrades and enhancements, the players will have to wait for the next instalment to the series, UFC 5.
Through one of the recent tweets by Tom Henderson, the players have understood a release window for the next instalment to the UFC franchise. Tom Henderson was asked on Twitter whether he had any news about EA Sports UFC 5, to which he replied that he believes UFC 5 release has been scheduled for the summer of 2023.

Through this tweet and another comment, Tom Henderson also gave players information about another popular EA Sports fighting game franchise. The game in question is ‘Fight Night’, which was a series of boxing games that lasted from 1998 to 2003. It seems like EA is planning a reboot for this fan favourite series.
According to Tom Henderson, the Fight Night reboot has taken a backseat in order to accommodate the 2023 release window for UFC 5. In the words of Tom Henderson, ‘A Fight Night reboot had to be *paused* for it’. He further added about this in a comment stating, ‘Wanted to rename the original QRT from “canned” to “paused” because I’ve not been told that it’s 100% canned yet’.
