Premier League LIVE: Tottenham vs Wolves updates as Spurs look to go top of the league | Football | Sport
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Antonio Conte seemed hugely respectful of today’s opponents Wolves – who beat Tottenham 2-0 in this fixture last season.
“First of all, we are talking about a really good team and a good club, a club that in the last week has signed two important players like Guedes from Valencia and then Nunes from Sporting Lisbon,” he said.
“It means that they have a lot of ambition, I have a great respect for Wolverhampton and their players, Ruben Neves and many, many good players with a good coach.
“I give great respect to them because they are doing very well and for sure the game will be difficult for us. The recent past is also important for us, to understand that the game, it won’t be easy.”
