Last week’s episode showcased the true capabilities of Anya’s mind-reading powers. She was able to achieve an extraordinary feat that finally landed her a Stella Star. In Episode 12, titled “Penguin Park”, we will see a new addition to the Forger family.
What happened in Episode 11?
So far in Spy x Family, we saw Anya working hard in school to earn Stella Stars to help in her father’s mission. However, Loid is not satisfied with her grades and overall performance when it comes to her academics.
Besides studying, Loid decides to tap into Anya’s other talents that could help her in obtaining Stella Stars. Loid tests her in fields such as drawing, music, and sports but Anya fails in them all. Loid decides that he will find a way for Anya to earn a Stella anyhow, and Anya agrees to work hard to help with her father’s mission.
Therefore, Loid takes Anya to the hospital so she can help there as a volunteer. While she ends up breaking things due to her clumsiness, Anya hears a boy’s thoughts who went through rehab. The boy walks to a swimming pool in the building and falls in it, and starts drowning. Locating the boy’s location through her powers, Anya rushes to the swimming pool and dives in to save the boy.
Since Anya is a child herself, she has trouble pulling the boy out. Loid, fortunately, followed her to the pool and rescues them both. The boy comes out unharmed thanks to Anya and she gets a lot of praise for her bravery. This results in her earning a Stella.
Spy x Family Episode 12 will see the Forgers welcome new family member
During the end of the Episode 11, Becky suggests that Anya should ask for a gift from her parents, and after much consideration she asks for a dog. Her reasoning behind getting a dog is that it will help her getting closer to Damian. We are then shown a large, white dog in a building where multiple other dogs are caged, who appear aggressive towards the workers there. The facility seems to be up to no good, so our main characters will likely adopt a dog that’s not necessarily normal. The preview also shows the Forgers visiting what appears to be an aquarium, and Yor in action.
When will Episode 12 release?
Spy x Family Episode 12 will premiere on Saturday, June 25. It will be available in Asia through the regional YouTube channels by Muse Communications and Netflix. The episode will be available in India on Muse India’s YouTube channel at 8:30 PM. Crunchyroll will stream the show outside Asia.
