The Prince of Wales has refused to clarify if he plans to back his relative for the win on the ITV programme.
William found himself hugged, posing for selfies and was even grilled about who he wanted to win the hit ITV show during a visit to RAF Coningsby.
While at the base, he opened their new boxing club, where he met RAF personnel involved in the sport and chatted with Corporal Rachael Howes.
Former rugby player Mike is married to Princess Anne’s daughter Zara, a cousin of William’s, while the prince is also said to know Jill Scott, an England Lioness.

Having had to try to get him to stop snoring in the night, Sue added: “Who’d have thought we’d have got so intimate, so quickly.”
The Coronation Street was seen in the night whispering: “Mike, roll over! Mike! Roll over.”
Viewers were in hysterics watching Sue and Mike try to sleep in the RV and questioned how Zara puts up with the snoring.
