PlayStation Plus subscribers are counting down to the reveal of the April 2023 Extra and Premium games. The good news is that the next wave of PS Plus Extra and Premium titles will be revealed at 4.30pm BST on April 12. The new PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games will be available to download and play less than a week later, on the morning of April 18. Sony is also expected to reveal which titles will be leaving the service, so stay tuned for updates at Express.co.uk.

Unlike previous months, the new games joining the service, as well as the titles leaving PS Plus are yet to be revealed.

There’s a strong chance we’ll see a leak ahead of the big reveal, so keep checking back for more information.

Available to subscribers on higher tiers, the new games will feature a selection of modern blockbusters, indie gems and one or two classics from the early PlayStation era.

Last month’s new games line-up was headined by the Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection, which contains remastered versions of Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy.

It was joined by Ghostwire Tokyo, Rainbow Six Extraction, Life is Strange True Colours and brand new release Tchia.

Judging by the upcoming release schedule, there are a few contenders for new games that could launch on PS Plus Extra.

This includes The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story, which has an April 18 release date – the same date the new games land on PS Plus.

Minecraft Legends also makes its debut on April 18, although the Microsoft property is unlikely to come to PS Plus Extra and Xbox Game Pass on the same day.

There’s also a good chance we’ll see more first-party titles join the line-up, including God of War Ragnarok and Gran Turismo 7.  That’s on top of The Last of Us Part 2 and Ratchet and Clank: A Rift Apart.
