Synopsis
There are some sectors which have strong positive co-relationship with festive and holiday season spending by consumers. Quick restaurant space( QSR ) companies is one such sector. There are two busy seasons for this sector. First is the holiday season in the middle of the year, second one comes in the third quarter of the calendar year. Will the holiday season and increased discretionary spending help the stocks gain attention once again.
For the calendar year 2022, the first busy season for the QSR companies was dented by rising edible oil prices and wheat prices. In the past couple of weeks, prices of some of the raw materials have come down and demand is better than previous year.
