The Queen’s coffin was taken to St Giles’ Cathedral, in Edinburgh, and was followed by King Charles, Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex and Anne, The Princess Royal on foot. Camilla, Queen Consort, and Sophie, Countess of Wessex also travelled behind the procession of Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin in cars.

After the procession, the King and the Queen Consort, accompanied by other members of the Royal Family, attended a service of prayer and reflection for the life of Queen Elizabeth.

Queen Camilla was seen wearing a black dress with silver detail and a large black hat with feathers on one side.

The coat dress the Queen Consort chose for Queen Elizabeth’s coffin procession and service happens to be the same one she previously wore to the funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh.

The piece had a fitted bodice with thin silver detailing and it flared out into a fuller skirt.

Queen Camilla completed the look with black tights, a pair of simple black heels and a large hat, and wore her short blonde bob down under the chic feathered hat.

The royal was also seen carrying a black clutch and a pair of black gloves.

For jewellery, she sported a beautiful diamond brooch, her Four Strand Pearl Necklace with Round Diamond Clasp and elegant pearl drop earrings.

Camilla was seen donning the Queen Mother’s Thistle Brooch, one of the favourite pieces of jewellery of the Queen Mother.

The brooch, featuring two thistles, symbolises one of the countries that make up the United Kingdom, Scotland, but the Queen Mother used to wear the piece even outside of Scottish engagements, showing her fondness for the country.

The large jewel is made of diamonds and features two thistles rendered from precious gems. Queen Elizabeth used to loan the piece to Camilla for her own Scottish engagements and the royal was seen wearing it earlier this year.
