Rafael Nadal out due to injury; Novak Djokovic returns to No. 1

Rafael Nadal will be out of action for between four and six weeks due to a stress fracture of the rib. “This is not good news and I did not expect this,” tweeted Nadal, who could return for the Madrid Masters (May 1-8).

Meanwhile, Serbian Novak Djokovic got back the World No.1 spot from Russia’s Daniil Medvedev, who slipped to No.2 on Monday.
