Rahul Bhatt reveals how many guests will attend Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding
Although Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have been tight-lipped about their impending wedding, the actress’ step-brother, Rahul Bhatt, has now spilled the beans about the couple’s intimate wedding ceremony. While there is still time for the will-they-won’t-they debate to be resolved, Rahul’s revelation is a strong indication that the couple will tie the knot this week. According to a recent report, Alia and Ranbir’s wedding will be a small affair with only 28 guests. Rahul told a leading news portal that the wedding will have 28 guests, the majority of whom will be family members.
According to Rahul, the guests will take a bus to Chembur, Mumbai, which will be surrounded by security. The couple was previously rumoured to get married at RK House but now reports suggest it will be at Vastu. RK House and Krishna Raj Bungalows are decked up nevertheless. Rahul Bhatt is the younger brother of Pooja Bhatt and the son of Mahesh Bhatt and Kiran Bhatt. Mahesh Bhatt’s daughters from his second wife, Soni Razdan, are Alia and Shaheen Bhatt. The two families have a strong bond.
Surprisingly, Rahul also revealed details about the wedding security arrangements for Alia and Ranbir. Rahul recently claimed in an interview that Yusuf Bhai has taken over security for Alia and Ranbir’s wedding and that he has the best security force in Mumbai. “He has been hired for the same. Around 200 bouncers have been called from this agency. 10 boys from my team will also be sent”, he was reported to have said. Rahul also confirmed that RK Studios and Vastu in Bandra will be secured.
The couple, who are keeping quiet about their rumoured wedding, will co-star in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. Aside from the aforementioned film, both Alia and Ranbir have a slew of other exciting projects in the works. While Alia will appear in films such as Jee Le Zaraa, Darlings, and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani, Ranbir will appear in Shamshera and Luv Ranjan’s next.
