Rainbow Six Siege Castle Elite Skin Leaked And It’s Hugely Inspired By The Wire

It’s been a long wait for Rainbow Six Siege players, but Castle will finally get an elite set in the game, and it’s definitely a big one, though the operator is not highly popular anymore.

According to the leaked images shared on Reddit, the elite skin set for Castle takes heavy inspiration from the character of Omar Little in The Wire TV series. You can check out Castle’s elite outfit and victory dance below, but if you don’t want to be spoiled, we strongly suggest skipping this post:

In addition to the victory dance, you can have a look at the player card and gadget skin for Castle Elite set through the highlighted links.

To be honest, this is one of the best elite sets we have ever had in Rainbow Six Siege. Its badass design is very similar to that of Glaz or Pulse elite sets.

Unfortunately, the leaker has not provided any accurate release date for the skin set, but you can probably expect it to drop in the near future as every new season introduces a brand new elite set.

When Rainbow Six Siege was launched back in 2015, it featured only 10 attackers and 10 defenders, however, there were no elite skin sets at the time. It took Ubisoft over a year to start adding special elite skins for each one of the operators, and while it seemed like the original operators would receive their elites earlier than post-launch characters, Ubisoft took a random approach to deliver elites.

As a result of this random approach, a few original operators like Castle and Montagne left without elites for 7 years, but hopefully, Year 7 puts an end to this curse. While Montagne received an elite skin last season, it seems like Castle will be getting his own elite in Year 7 Season 3. Although we are not sure about this yet, some trustworthy sources had already reported about an upcoming elite set for Castle in Year 7.

Aside from the Rainbow Six Siege Castle elite set, there is also an elite skin coming for Iana which is based on the 2B’s character from Nier Automata. Thanks to leaks, we already spotted the in-game look of the Iana 2B set, but it doesn’t have a release date yet.
