Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva has taken the internet by storm with its visually appealing first look. From the song release of Kesariya featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt right before their wedding to the teaser drops, it looks like nothing short of a spectacle and a larger-than-life fantasy film deeply embedded in Indian culture.Ranbir Kapoor who plays the titular role of Shiva has already started the promotions. Hewas in Vishakhapatnam recently where the second teaser was dropped along with the character reveals of Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna who are playing parallel roles in the film.
On being asked about working with acting legend Amitabh Bachchan, and with his wife – Alia Bhatt, he was quoted in a leading entertainment portal saying, “Working with Amitabh Bachchan is truly an honour and a privilege for an actor. He is the best and the greatest Indian actor. To work with an actor like Alia… when I had seen her second film Highway, I said that she is the next Amitabh Bachchan while I was at Ayan’s house with him and Karan (Johar) before Alia became the Alia Bhatt. I am proud that my prediction is coming true. She is that impactful as an actor, she is unlimited, she is immense.”
Brahmastra has a lot of expectations associated with it considering Ayan Mukerji is back with a stellar big-budget project after the commercial success of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani in 2013 which also featured his best friend Ranbir Kapoor alongside Deepika Padukone.
Brahmastra is all set to hit the theatres on September 9, 2022.
