This time at CES 2019, Razor has stepped into the Gaming Monitors with its 27-inch Raptor Display. This is their first attempt in Gaming Monitors which is individually designed and manufactured by Razor itself.
It has a 27-inch edge-to-edge display with 2.3mm bezels on each side. It has a 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution display with 178° viewing angle. Additionally, it has a refresh rate of 144 Hz at 1ms of Motion Blur reduction to deliver amazing performance. It has HDR Screen with up to 420 nits of Brightness. The company also included that panel will cover 95 percent of the DCI-P3 color space. The only minor point about this Monitor is that it has AMD FreeSync tech instead of Nvidia G-Sync. However, Razer will be back soon with some Nvidia G-Synch actions as well.
Apart from its high-end specifications, this Monitor has been designed amazingly by Razer and looks Stunning. Moving on to its physical appearance, the base stand is made up of Aluminium with a classic matte- finish which looks similar to those Razer Stealth Laptops and Razer Blade. Razer has done a great job in cord management system on the back panel. They have included green-colored flat cables to manage inputs. They have arranged them in such a manner that this cable management looks amazing over this design.
In addition, Razer has covered the panel with cloth which improves its design and also feels good while using it. Like most of the gaming peripherals, Razer Raptor 27 has also Chroma lighting at the base with a soft RGB rainbow glow.
The company has told that this new Gaming Monitor is going to launch this year. However, they haven’t uttered an expected time about its launch nor about its Price. However, it is expected that Raptor 27 will launch at a cost price of $699.99.
