NEW DELHI: Realme 9 5G and Realme 9 5G SE are here. Realme has expanded its Realme 9-series of smartphones with the launch of Realme 9 5G and Realme 9 5G SE smartphones. Both the new Realme smartphones sport triple rear camera setup and are backed by a 5000mAh battery. The duo run Android 11 operating system and sport full HD+ display.
Price and availability
Realme 9 5G comes in two variants — 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB priced at Rs 14,999 and Rs 17,499. The smartphone can be purchased in Meteor Black and Stargaze White colour options.
On the other hand, Realme 9 5G SE also comes in two variants — 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB priced at Rs 19,999 and Rs 22,999. The smartphone comes in Azure Glow and Starry Glow colour options.
Both the smartphones will be available online on Flipkart and Realme.com starting March 14. As part of the launch offers, Realme is giving an instant discount of Rs 1,500 on the purchase of Realme 9 5G on ICICI Bank and SBI credit cards. The discount increased to Rs 2,000 on the purchase of Realme 9 5G SE.
Realme 9 5G specifications
Realme 9 5G runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of Realme UI. The smartphone sports a 6.5-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.
Realme 9 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor coupled with 4GB/6GB of RAM. The smartphone comes in two storage variants — 64GB and 128GB. The company is also offering virtual RAM support of up to 11GB with the handset.
Realme 9 5G features a triple rear camera setup with 48MP main sensor, a monochrome portrait sensor and a macro camera. Front is home to a 16MP selfie shooter.
The smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 18W Quick Charge support.
Realme 9 5G SE specifications
Realme 9 5G SE is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM. The smartphone offers two stoarge options — 64GB and 128GB. Users can further expand the storage by installing a microSD card.
Realme 9 5G SE sports a 6.6-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2412 pixel resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The handset runs Android 11 operating system topped with Realme UI.
The smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 30W Quick Charge support. For the imaging duties, Realme 9 5G SE features a triple rear camera setup which comprises of 48MP primary camera, a monochrome and a portrait sensor. Front is home to a 16MP selfie camera.
