NEW DELHI: Realme is all set to launch its flagship smartphone — Realme GT 2 Pro in India. The company has started sending out invites for the launch of its high-end smartphone.

Realme has scheduled an online event for the launch of Realme GT 2 Pro. The company will unveil the smartphone in India on April 7 at 12.30 pm. You can also livestream the event on realme’s social media platforms, YouTube and Facebook.
The Realme GT 2 Pro series consists of two smartphones — Realme GT 2 Pro and the Realme GT 2. Presently, the company has only shared the invite for the launch of Realme GT 2 Pro, so it is not clear whether it will launch the Realme GT 2 in India or not.
Realme GT 2 Pro specifications
Realme recently launched the Realme GT 2 Pro globally at MWC 2022. The company is expected to launch the same variant in India.
Realme GT 2 Pro is the world’s first smartphone to sport a sustainable design. The company claims that the back cover on the smartphone uses a bio-polymer material that serves as an eco-friendly alternative to fossil raw materials that contribute to global warming.
The flagship smartphone of the company is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB internal storage. Realme GT 2 Pro features a 6.7-inch OLED display with 3216×1440 pixels resolution. The display uses an LTPO panel and offers up to 120Hz refresh rate. The display on the smartphone is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
Realme GT 2 Pro runs Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of customisation. The smartphone sports a triple rear camera which consists of a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with optical image stabilisation, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a field of view of 150-degrees, and a 3MP microscope camera. For selfies and video calls, the device has a 32MP camera at the front.
Realme GT 2 Pro houses a 5000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
