NEW DELHI: Realme is all set to launch its high-end smartphone series in India. The smartphone maker recently unveiled its Realme GT 2 series globally at MWC 2022 in Barcelona, Spain. Now it appears that the company is all set to launch the Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone of the series in India.
Realme shared an official teaser of the launch of the Realme GT 2 Pro in India. The company posted a teaser revealing the launch date on Twitter. As per the teaser shared the Chinese smartphone maker will launch the Realme GT 2 Pro in India on April 7. However, the company deleted the tweet after a short while. Also, the teaser mentioned the launch of only Realme GT 2 Pro, so it is not clear whether the company will also launch the Realme GT 2 or not.
The teaser posted on Twitter was spotted by GSMArena. The publication has also shared a screenshot of the same in which Realme has mentioned that it will launch the smartphone on April 7 at 12 pm. The teaser also mentioned that the Realme GT 2 Pro comes with an eco-friendly and sustainable design.
Realme GT 2 Pro specifications
As mentioned above, Realme GT 2 Pro is the world’s first smartphone to be designed with bio-based materials. As per the company, the back cover on the smartphone uses a bio-polymer material that serves as an eco-friendly alternative to fossil raw materials that contribute to global warming.
Realme GT 2 Pro sports a 6.7-inch OLED display with 3216×1440 pixels resolution. The display uses an LTPO panel and gets a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It comes with a peak brightness of 1400 nits and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on the top.
The smartphone packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
The imaging duties are handled by a triple rear camera. The Realme GT 2 Pro features a triple rear camera which consists of a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with optical image stabilisation, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a field of view of 150-degrees, and a 3MP microscope camera. For selfies and video calls, the device has a 32MP camera at the front.
The smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
