Redmi Note 12 confirmed to launch in India on March 30

Redmi, a spun-off brand of Xiaomi, has confirmed the launch of Redmi Note 12 in India. The Redmi Note 12 will be launching on March 30 in India during the Xiaomi Fan Festival.
The Redmi Note 12 model to launch in India seems to be the 4G model, which is launching globally tomorrow, i.e. February 23.
Redmi Note 12 will join the Redmi Note 12 series, which launched in India in January 2023, including the Redmi Note 12 Pro+, Redmi Note 12 Pro,, and Redmi Note 12 5G.

Redmi Note 12 is confirmed to feature a Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone will run on the Snapdragon 685 chipset, which is an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 680 chipset. Moreover, the smartphone will boast a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. The Redmi Note 12 will come with up to 11GB of RAM.
Further, the Redmi Note 12 seems to have a triple camera setup from the looks of it in the teaser. The smartphone could come with a 50MP rear camera. The company says that it will be the slimmest smartphone of the Redmi Note 12 series.
Redmi Note 12 may come in a similar design as its 5G counterpart, having flat edges. The smartphone is rumoured to include a 3.5mm audio jack and an IR blaster.
We expect to learn more about the Redmi Note 12 in the coming days, as it debuts globally tomorrow.
The 5G variant of the Redmi Note 12 comes with a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED 120Hz display, Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. The Redmi Note 12 5G also has a triple camera setup, but it comes with a 48MP main sensor. The smartphone packs in a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
