Reliance Jio facing outage, mobile internet hit the most; claim some users

Reliance Jio appears to be down for some users in certain parts of the country. The earliest reports came around 11 am and peaked around 11.30 pm. Several users on social media platforms reported issues with mobile internet and connectivity. As per Down Detector, the outages have been reported in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Chandigarh, among other areas. However, the outage has not affected everyone as Times of India Tech spoke to some users who have not witnessed any disruption in the Jio services.
At the time of writing this report, Down Detector data suggest that 56% of users reported issues with mobile internet, 35% reported that they are facing problems with mobile signals and 9% mentioned issues with their mobile phone.
Users have taken to Twitter complaining they were unable to access the Jio network.

“@JioCare internet not working since yesterday night. Not able to register a complaint on Jio Application nor customer care responding. Application states no outage,” a user tweeted.
“@jio @jiocare in jio network I am facing issue since 1 week. no network, call drop, no voice After receiving call” a user said.
Some users have also tweeted problems with Jio Fiber. “Jio Fiber device is not working properly since a few hours, with a consistent blinking red light, which switches to green for a short time and then back to blinking red. Remaining details shared via DM. Please assist urgently. Thanks,” a user reported.

Some have even complained that they are unable to register a complaint on the app. “I have tried to troubleshoot issues using your app but it provides random answers,” a user claimed on Twitter.
Jio True 5G launched in Andhra Pradesh
Recently, Reliance Jio launched 5G services in Andhra Pradesh and announced that its 5G services will be available in Tirumala, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Guntur first. Jio 5G is available in multiple towns and cities in India, including Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Varanasi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune and Nathdwara with the Jio Welcome Offer. The company has already launched the next-generation service in all 33 district headquarters of Gujarat.
