Gamers can rejoice, as a new heavy hitter is joining the industry. We have been informed about JioGamesCloud earlier, and how it brought 50 new games to the platform. Now, they have come up with a new announcement for the ‘Future of Gaming’ in India. It has just partnered up with Ubitus K.K. to reveal its cloud gaming capabilities in the country.
JioGamesCloud will be India’s cloud gaming platform and will aim to provide console-level gaming across many devices. Jio has created a gigantic digital network since it has been released in the country, and the company will use that network to ‘revolutionise the benchmark for gaming’. At the moment, players can access JioGamesCloud through Jio Set Top Box, Android smartphones and through the web. It is free for now across all platforms.
Ubitus K.K. on the other hand is known for cloud infrastructure, platforms, and cloud gaming. Ubitus K.K. will aim to provide the players with ”high-quality gameplay”, by removing the capacity and computing power limitations of the platforms that support it. Its 5G network will also play a big hand in eliminating restrictions such as high-latency and lags.

JioGames Partners up with Gamerstream
Ubitus was not the only partnership that JioGames announced last week. The gaming-focused division of Reliance Jio has also partnered up with Gamerstream, a France-based company known for its white-label cloud gaming solutions.
It has announced a 10-year strategic partnership, that will aim to provide “unlimited access to cloud gaming anywhere, anytime”, to 1.4 billion Indians. Gamersteam will also expand upon JioGamesCloud’s library by adding over 100 licences for families and casual gamers, will also add new games each month.
