Tottenham striker Richarlison is facing an investigation from the RSPCA after his neighbours made a noise complaint in relation to his dogs, according to reports. The Brazil international has been reported to the animal protection organisation because his two pets have allegedly been making a racket with howling and barking, causing a nuisance for his neighbours.

The 25-year-old has endured a difficult start to life in north London after his £60million switch from Everton in July last year and is yet to score in the Premier League in 19 appearances this season, although he has registered two goals in the Champions League.

The Brazilian forward moved into his new pad in London after previously living in Merseyside, but his new neighbours have reportedly not been happy with his behaviour or the noise from his canines – and the RSPCA are now understood to be looking into a noise complaint.

According to The Sun, one of his neighbours – an unnamed 75-year-old – is quoted as saying that Richarlison’s dogs ‘constantly bark’ and howl to the point that it is ‘not nice to hear’. The report adds that when approached, an RSPCA spokesperson said they could not discuss complaints.

Richarlison owns two dogs, of which one is a chocolate labrador and the other a Siberian husky named Acerola, with the striker giving the pup its own Instagram account that has attracted over a thousand followers.

Neighbours have alleged that his dogs have managed to escape from his £4million mansion on a ‘daily basis’, with the dogs even reportedly seen running down an A-road without their owner.

The unnamed 75-year-old neighbour also alleged: “He recently had a massive party with a live band that made our houses vibrate and it went on until 4am.” And neighbours have now finally had enough after reportedly lodging a complaint with the RSPCA.

A Tottenham spokesman said: “We are liaising with the player and his representatives.”

It is the latest bump in the road for Richarlison, who has appeared to be far from happy at Spurs since his big-money move.

Most recently, the striker launched a scathing attack on Antonio Conte in an interview last month while on international duty. Conte departed last month after a disappointing campaign in which the Italian himself took aim at the club’s hierarchy.

And it seems he is not in the good books of interim coach Cristian Stellini either, as Richarlison was left as an unused substitute in the 2-1 win over Brighton on Saturday.

Express Sport have contacted the player’s representatives for comment.
