Rick Ross has come under fire for letting his pet buffaloes roam free from his property and “tear up” a neighbour’s garden. The rapper’s two buffaloes have wandered onto his neighbour’s property twice in one week in Fayette, Georgia. The woman filmed the animals, which can weigh up to 940kg, grazing on the grass near her driveway.

The neighbour is worried the animals could harm her two young children.

She revealed to TMZ that after trying to call the police, they dismissed the issue and told her it’s a civil dispute and did not file a report.

Ross was gifted the buffaloes by Darius Burton, his partner in his clothing line business, Ethika.

Burton said at the time: “We are gifting Ross these Buffalo after a conversation at his birthday party back in January.

“I wanted to get him a giraffe but he wasn’t ready for that commitment so he said let’s start smaller, like a cow.

“I said nah, everyone has cows, I want you to have something nobody in your state has, I’m getting you a buffalo.”

Ross added: “This is something I spoke into existence. My whole life I wanted a heifer. I got a heifer.”

The rapper also owns four horses and a bull.

In an Instagram story, the rapper responded by saying, “when you see my buffalo, give them a carrot. Give it an apple. They’re so kind and so peaceful.”

But his neighbour has warned the damage done by the animals could cost her a lot of money.

She previously went to the house to confront Ross but it turned into a verbal argument with a member of his team.
