Kajal pencil and lip gloss
The product you wanted to steal from your mom or sister?
I wanted to steal mom`s burgundy colour lipstick.
Your skincare routine?
My mom was very particular since I was a teenager. She used to be very persistent that I apply natural products like milk and gram flour paste, then haldi and milk cream and orange peel paste with fresh cream. Sometimes olive oil and lemon juice for hair and other natural products like cucumber tomato and potato juice. I used to be very reluctant but she was very persistent.
How did you learn to look after your skin and do make-up correctly?
When I joined the industry my make -up skills started growing. I worked with the best make-up people and stylists and one by one acquired the skills.
The items one will always find in your make-up kit?
Lipstick, base foundation, mascara, brow pencils, blush ons, make-up fixers, lip pencil, black kajal, moisturiser
Make-up or skincare goof ups from the past?
Once I was shooting in rain for a song sequence and I was completely drenched the make-up artist used non-waterproof mascara and all the black water was dripping from my eyes. Such an embarrassing situation.
The make-up trend you wish to try?
Matte make-up with high cheekbones and winged eyeliner.
The make-up product you would never be caught wearing?
Black lipstick
The lipstick or gloss and eyeshadow shades that are your favourite?
Lipstick shades in plum, burgundy and shades of brown.
The make-up trick that always works for you?
Plum lipstick, illuminator and mascara eyes.
