The family rejoiced over the happy news for a small get together at Craig’s restaurant in West Hollywood.
The pictures showed that also joining Kimberly, 42, and Jesse on their special occasion was her brother Sean, 41, and Renee, 29, who is Rod’s daughter from his second marriage to Rachel Hunter.
Alana shared two snaps of the family sitting around the table with the caption: “Family celebration at @craigsla [heart emojis].”
Kimberly’s mum also appeared to let the cat out of the bag a bit early, as she hastily deleted the hashtags #engagement and #engaged, but not before fans had taken to the comments to say congratulations.
Julia Clark wrote: “Oh congratulations to Kimberly and Jesse. So happy for your precious, beautiful girl. She’s such a credit to you and Sir Rod.”
Julie Goode added: “Wonderful news congratulations to your beautiful daughter. It’s so wonderful how you all are a credit to you as parents too.” (sic)
Rebecca Jane commented: “Congratulations to Kimberly and Jesse!! Gorgeous family photos.”
It wasn’t long before Kimberly then shared the news to her own Instagram, which featured a sweet snap of the couple kissing as she showed off her engagement ring and the simple caption “Forever” with a heart emoji.
