Giovanni Pernice took to his Instagram on Friday as he reacted to the news of having won an award at last night’s Broadcast Awards. Giovanni and Rose won the Timeline Moment of the Year gong for their breathtaking dance routine to Clean Bandit and Zara Larsson’s single To Symphony on Strictly’s latest series.
Though the pair were not in attendance, seeing as they’re still on the nationwide Strictly Come Dancing tour, they’ve since reacted to their prize in separate Instagram posts.
In view of his 799,000 followers, the ballroom dancer wrote: “Another incredible achievement for us @rose.a.e and our amazing @bbcstrictly family!!
“We love you.”
Meanwhile, Rose expressed her gratitude on her Instagram Story.

Since his split from Love Island star Maura Higgins in October, Giovanni is said to have remained single.
However, earlier this week, he was alleged to have shared a kiss with TV actress Emily Atack following a night out at a Brit Awards afterparty in London.
Sources told The Sun: “Giovanni and Emily were snogging the faces off each other.
“Their hands were everywhere, and they were absolutely loving it.”
Giovanni and Emily have been friends for years, going back as far as late 2017 when they were spotted sharing a taxi together following a fun-filled event at Soho House in London.
In an Instagram Story post on Thursday, the Italian-born TV personality appeared to address rumours of a romance with Emily.
Giovanni posted a Memoji of himself crying with laughter while his caption included lyrics to ABBA’s Mamma Mia, Here I Go Again.
“That is all,” he wrote in his caption.
The Strictly Come Dancing tour will conclude on Sunday following its third show at The O2 Arena in London.
