RRR Wins Critics Choice Award for Best International Film; James Cameron Appreciated Film, Steven Spielberg Liked Naatu Naatu and More

RRR by S.S. Rajamouli continues to make an impressive run during international awards season. Recently we learned that the movie created history by winning Best Original Song at the Golden Globes.

And at the 28th edition of the Critics Choice Award held at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel, Los Angeles, S.S. Rajamouli’s RRR managed to bag the Best Foreign Film Award. On top of that M.M. Keeravaani’s Naatu Naatu was also awarded the Best Original Song award.

Moreover, S.S. Rajamouli and M.M. Keeravaani met some big names from Hollywood at the event. Rajamouli tweeted that he met James Cameron, who said that he liked RRR so much that he watched it twice – Once alone and the second time with his wife Suzy, after he recommended it to her. He also analyzed the movie with him for 10 minutes. Furthermore, Cameron gave feedback on RRR’s score to Keeravaani too.

Another notable personality of the movie industry that the duo met was none other than Steven Spielberg. Rajamouli posted an image with him on Twitter, with the caption, “I just met GOD!!!”. That wasn’t all as Spielberg also shared his views about original song ‘Naatu Naatu’. Keeravaani tweeted that he couldn’t believe that Spielberg said that he liked “Naatu Naatu”.
