Rumour has it that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone might play the lead roles in Brahmastra Part 2

Ever since its inception – Brahmastra has wreaked havoc in the world of cinema. The larger-than-life visual spectacle had created a huge hype including the massive fan-following that the lead pair – Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have. Now that the film has finally hit the theatres – the box office numbers are increasing by the day and it comes as no surprise.

This three-part trilogy already has a lot going for the first part that was released, now according to some humours – the second installment is most likely to have Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in the lead. While some are confident that the original cast is most likely to be retained, a report in a news portal speculates that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone would be signed to play the leads in part two.

With the first part just released, the director Ayan Mukerji had quite recently spoken to Times Of India where he had mentioned, “Plan the shooting of the second and third parts. The trilogy will tell the same story, but each film would introduce new characters and add various perspectives to the overall narrative.”
