The first teaser of Sam Bahadur, Meghna Gulzar’s next led by Vicky Kaushal is out. The biopic which will see the actor play Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw also features Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh in pivotal roles. Along with a short clip, the film’s release date has also been unveiled.
On Thursday, the makers of Sam Bahadur dropped a short teaser. In it, Vicky Kaushal can be seen in uniform walking towards a crowd of Indian Army personnel as they make way for him. The actor shared the video in a post captioned, “365 days to go…#SamBahadur in cinemas 1.12.2023”

Sam Bahadur is set to release on December 1, 2023. The film will also see Sanya Malhotra play Manekshaw’s wife Silloo while Fatima Sana Shaikh will play former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Earlier, a behind-the-scenes look at Vicky Kaushal from the film had gone viral. Fans were awestruck by the actor’s uncanny resemblance with Sam Manekshaw.
Vicky Kaushal also shared some photos from the sets of the film on his social media handle.
Sam Manekshaw was a celebrated Field Marshal, known for his victory in the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971.
