Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Fit, and Galaxy Buds, Samsung has launched its budget-friendly Galaxy Fit-e at the Galaxy Unpacked 2019 event in February this year. The Galaxy Fit-e is just a basic fitness tracker with no smartwatch features just like Xiaomi Mi Band 3. Now, this fitness tracker is listed on Samsung’s Albania website with its detailed specifications.
Listing of this Samsung Galaxy Fit-e was first spotted by a German publication, Android Pit who gives a detailed report on this fitness gear. According to them, Galaxy Fit-e is expected to be launched first in the United States on May 21, where it is expected to be available at a price tag of $35 (approx Rs. 2,450). However, all of this information hasn’t been confirmed by the company yet, but it’s expected to be revealed soon.
As per the listing, Google Fit-e will be appearing in black, white, and yellow color. The Fit-e can track your workouts, heart rate, step count, and can perform sleep tracking as well. Samsung is launching this fitness gear in the market to give a tough competition to the well-established fitness tracker’s manufacturers like Huawei, Xiaomi, and Lenovo.
As for the specifications, the Galaxy Fit-e sports a 0.74-inch PMOLED display with 64 x 128 pixels and 193 PPI pixel density. It is powered by MCU Cortex M0 96 MHz chipset with a 128KB internal RAM, 4MB external ROM and runs on Realtime OS. The fitness tracker will be able to connect to your smartphone through a Bluetooth 5.0 connection.
This device is fuelled by a 70 mAh battery which Samsung claims that it will last for a week. Also, Fit-e comes with 5 ATM waterproof casting. Samsung Galaxy Fit-e is compact in size measure at 40.2mm x 16mm and weighs just 15grams.
