Samsung Galaxy M13 gets Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update


Samsung has released the stable Android 13-based OneUI 5.0 update for the Galaxy M13 smartphones in Europe. The update brings along the November security patch that claims to fix approximately four dozen security vulnerabilities. The device is reported to get the stable OS version in other countries in the upcoming weeks.
As per a report by Sammobile, the update comes with firmware version M135FXXU1BVL2.
How to download the OneUI 5.0 update based on Android 13
1. Open the Settings app on the Samsung Galaxy M13 phone.
2. Scroll down and tap Software update.
3. Tap Download and Install.
4. The phone will install the update and restart the phone.

Samsung Galaxy M13: Features and specifications
Samsung Galaxy M13 features a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD display with 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the Exynos 850 chipset and packs up to 12GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. The storage is further expandable up to 1TB using a microSD card. The smartphone comes in three shades: Midnight Blue, Aqua Green and Stardust Brown.
For images, the Galaxy M13 sports a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor, 5MP ultra-wide shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. The device is backed by a 6,000mAh battery with 15W charging support. The device was launched with Android 12 OS.
One UI 5.0: What does it offer
Samsung OneUI 5.0 comes as the latest version layered on top of Android 13 which brings some new features. There is a “Privacy Detection” feature, a new Privacy and Security dashboard which resembles the Google’s Material You design, a new lock screen with options to customise it, and “Maintenance mode” which hides user’s data when the phone is sent for repair, stackable widgets, among others. The update also brings improved performance and smoother animations.
