Samsung on Wednesday has launched a new mid-range smartphone the Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime in India. The smartphone comes with the price tag of Rs. Rs 12,990 for 3GB RAM variant and Rs 12,999 for 4GB RAM option. The smartphone will be exclusively available via Amazon India and will go on sale on Jan 20, 2018. It will be made available in Black and Gold colour options.

Launch offers include Rs. 2,000 cashback for JioMoney users on recharge of Rs 299 per month for 24 months. The first Rs. 800 cashback will be given after 12 months, and the next Rs. 1,200 will be given after the next 12 months. The company is also offering a no-cost EMI offers on selected bank debit/credit cards.
Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime Specifications
The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system with Samsung Experience 8.5 UI on top. It sports a 5.5”full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) PLS TFT LCD display with 16M colour depth and 2.5D curved glass on top. The smartphone is powered by a 1.6 GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor. it offers 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage and 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage options. The storage can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
For photography, the Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, autofocus and LED flash. On the front, it has a same 13MP front shooter with f//1.9 aperture.
The Galaxy On7 Prime is fueled by a 3300mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 21 hours of talk time. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack and a micro USB 2.0 port. There is also a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button. It measures 151.7×75.0x8.0mm and weighs 167 grams.
Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime also comes with the Samsung Mall visual search feature. It allows users to take a photo of a product in real life or something from their gallery, and then utilise visual search to identify the product and find it across multiple online shopping sites. Users will then be able to proceed to buy the product via Samsung Mall’s ‘Universal Cart’ feature. Samsung Mall also lets users look at products across shopping sites in a single place – called All-in-one Shopping. The smartphone also comes with Samsung Pay Mini support to make instant payments using UPI and leading mobile wallets.
