Pre-booking for both Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro starts August 16 onwards. Additionally, the company has also announced pre-booking offers and discounts on the Galaxy Watch5 series.
Galaxy Watch5 buyers can avail Rs 3000 cashback on purchases made via debit and credit cards from all leading banks bringing the effective price to Rs 24,999. Galaxy Watch5 (40MM) will be available in Graphite, Pink Gold and Silver colours, while Galaxy Watch5 (44MM) will come in Graphite, Sapphire and Silver colours.
Galaxy Watch5 Pro buyers can avail Rs 5000 cashback from all leading banks bringing the effective price to Rs 39999. Galaxy Watch5 Pro will be available in Black Titanium and Gray Titanium colours.
Pre-booking customers can purchase Galaxy Buds2 worth Rs 11999 at a special price of just Rs 2999. Customers will be eligible for easy finance options and get up to Rs 5000 when exchanging their old devices.
Galaxy Watch5 vs Galaxy Watch5 Pro: How the two differ
The Galaxy Watch5 looks like the previous generation Galaxy Watch4. However, the Galaxy Watch5 Pro is all new in terms of design. It also comes with Sapphire glass, but it’s relatively stronger than the one on the regular Watch 5. Also, the major difference is in terms of how they look. The Watch5 has a more polished and premium approach, while the Pro version has a rugged design and it also has the Titanium case which is more durable than the regular Aluminium case on Watch 5.
Galaxy Watch5 Pro also comes with a bigger 590mAh battery compared to the 484mAh (44mm) and 284mAh (40mm) Watch5. Also, the Watch 5 Pro comes with a bigger 1.4-inch display.
Feature-wise, both the smartwatches are almost similar. However, the Watch5 Pro comes with an outdoor tracking feature called GPX. It allows users to track their route and trace their steps, navigate with the download maps, share their locations and also track their way back to the starting point.
