Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 December 2022 Android security patch rolling out in the US

Samsung has begun releasing the December 2022 Android security patch for a handful of its Galaxy smartphones. Initially, the South Korean technology company released the security update to the Galaxy 20 series in Europe. It is now rolling out the December 2022 security patch to the Galaxy Z Fold4 models in the US.
According to a report by Sammobile, the software update for the Galaxy Z Fold4 comes with the firmware version F936U1UEU1BVKB. The update has a download size close to 400MB and is rolling out on AT&T’s network in the US, the report mentions. The new security patch fixes 93 security vulnerabilities that are found in Galaxy smartphones and tablets.

How to download December 2022 Android security update:
1. Launch the Setting app on the phone.
2. Scroll down and tap Software update.
3. Now, tap Download and install.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 sports a 6.2-inch HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X cover display with a 2316 X 904 pixels resolution. The smartphone offers up to 120Hz refresh rate. On the inside (in unfolded state), the smartphone has a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, thanks to the support for Adaptive refresh rate. The phone comes with an S Pen stylus for taking notes and making doodles, among others.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 is powered by the top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset coupled with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. The handset comes in two variants– 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB.
The smartphone comes with a pack of five cameras where three sensors are placed on the rear and two on the front.
The phone packs a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a 10MP 3X telephoto shooter. The front camera features a 10MP sensor while the under-display unit has a 4MP resolution.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Fold4 with Android 12OS-based OneUI 4.1. UI. The smartphone packs a 4,400mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
