Samsung rolls out Android 13 software update to Galaxy A03

Samsung is gradually pushing Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update to more of its devices. The company has now rolled out Android 13 with its latest software update for another budget smartphone, the Galaxy A03. The smartphone received the Android 12 update a few months earlier. Galaxy A03 launched with Android 11 preinstalled in 2021.

According to report by SamMobile, the Galaxy A03 has started receiving the Android 13 update in Serbia with firmware version A035FXXU2CVL4. The new update gives the smartphone One UI Core 5.0 and a more recent security patch. The South Korean smartphone maker recently rolled out the Android 13 update for the Galaxy A04s.

If you reside in Serbia and own a Galaxy A03, you can now update your operating system to version 13 by going to Settings » Software Update and selecting “Download and install.” You can also manually flash the new firmware by downloading it from our firmware database.

Samsung Galaxy A03 receives a new UI design with the new software update, including the expanded Colour Palette feature that provides more colour options for UI elements. Along with improved blur effects in the notification bar, the new design includes newer widgets, stacked widgets, simpler lock screen customizations, and newer widgets. Samsung has upgraded all of the stock apps with One UI 5.0 as well. The gallery app has album customisations, and the camera app has a cleaner appearance. There are more options in the built-in photo and video editors.
Additionally, Samsung has enhanced the quality of transitions and animations. The update brigs includes OCR function that can extract text from images which are stored on the phone or being streamed live by the camera. More granular notification controls, per-app language settings, and accessibility features are available.
