The Samsung Galaxy A54 smartphone will succeed the Galaxy A53 which was launched in 2022. Apart from revealing the launch date, the microsite has also detailed some key features of the upcoming phone.
Samsung Galaxy A54: Expected price and features
Rumours suggest that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A54 smartphone will be priced under Rs 40,000 in India. The site doesn’t mention the name of the phone that will launch on the mentioned date. However, the images shown in the micro-site align with the leaked renders of the Galaxy A54 which was exposed earlier. Samsung has not mentioned anything about the launch of the Galaxy A34 smartphone in India.
The micro-site also confirms that the upcoming smartphone will feature an IP67 water and dust-resistant rating. Samsung also promises that the Galaxy A54 will offer better low-light photography and a premium design with a rear panel made out of glass. To compare, the Galaxy A53 5G sports a polycarbonate rear panel.
Samsung Galaxy A54: Expected specs
Samsung Galaxy A54 5G is expected to boast a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen that may support a Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for the front camera. The smartphone is likely to come powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset which is built on the 5nm process, backed with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
For optics, the smartphone is rumoured to have a triple rear camera setup which includes — 50MP main camera with OIS support, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5MP macro unit. On the front, the smartphone is said to have a 32MP sensor for selfies and video calls. Galaxy A54 is speculated to pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. The smartphone is expected to run on OneUI 5.1 based on Android 13 out-of-the-box.
