Samsung’s new support page for Bixby’s new voice wake up feature has given us the first official glimpse at the design of the upcoming tablet from the company. Explaining the multi-device voice wake up feature for Bixby, the support page includes an image of a smartphone and a tablet that carries a notch on the display.
The tablet in the display looks familiar with the leaked design of the alleged Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.
It is important to note that the support page does not highlight or reveal the name of the tablet in the image. Going by the leaks and renders from the past couple of months, it is most likely the Galaxy Tab S8 Ulta.
For those unaware, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will be the new addition to the company’s flagship tablet lineup which is reported to boast a massive 14.6-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display will also support the S Pen.
The notch at the front will feature a dual 12MP sensor for taking selfies and video calls. The secondary 12MP front camera sensor is speculated to be an ultra-wide sensor for taking group
selfies.
At the back, the tab is rumoured to get dual 13MP + 6MP sensors.
In terms of performance, the tablet is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB of onboard storage.
The tablet is also expected to be backed by a bigger 11200mAh battery.
Samsung hasn’t revealed anything officially about the launch date for the upcoming tablets. However, reports suggest that it might arrive alongside the Galaxy S22 lineup that’s expected to launch on February 8.
