Scarlet and Violet Dev Publisher Removes 5 Unannounced Pocket Monsters From a Trailer; Pokemon Unite Streamers Showdown Announced in India
Nintendo Switch is all set to receive the next flagship Pokemon Games, Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are all set to release on November 18, 2022. It is the first time in the history of Pokemon game, that players will be playing open-world RPGs and they can’t wait for it to come out. Recently, many have been wondering about the 5 unannounced Pokemon that feature in one of the launch trailers.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet got their launch trailers recently and these were region specific. One of the intriguing facts about these trailers was that one of the western trailers feature 5 new Pokemon that we haven’t seen before. The intriguing part is that these Pokemon surprising disappeared in the Japanese version of the trailer. Players with keen eyes were able to spot this immediately, and thanks to Austin John Plays and PoryLeeks, we were informed about this change too.
funny enough, NONE of these leaked pokemon are in the JP trailer this is starting to make me think they were NOT intentional. https://t.co/XvqYOqHOCe pic.twitter.com/yrY1S3A4ah

Austin was able to spot that these 5 hidden Pokemon were missing from the Japanese trailer of the game. Upon further analysis, he realised that the Japanese trailer had animations that were smoother compared to the US and UK version of the trailer. He came to the conclusion that the English version of the trailer might include game capture from an earlier build of the game and the Japanese version showcases a newer build where the hidden Pokemon don’t exist.
The JP Trailer has the Sunflora running at a very smooth animation compared to the choppy US/UK Trailer. This makes me think the English footage MIGHT HAVE been captured on an older build BEFORE the leaked pokemon were removed. pic.twitter.com/KN336RoQfd

PoryLeeks on the other hand was able to spot some more hidden Pokemon in the game. First he found some unidentified Pokemon in the mini-map, one looked like a mouse and the other looked like a green bird. Then he was able to find a blurred image of a Pokemon which he felt could be Armarouge/Ceruledge pre-evolution. Then finally he was able to spot another Pokemon that was hidden behind the camera user interface of the photo mode feature of the game.
