Seagate announces four new external hard disk drives (HDD) featuring designs inspired by the stories and characters of Marvel Studios’ Black Panther. The officially licenced HDDs will be available at the end of November and join the company’s line of special edition storage devices.

These special edition Black Panther drives will be available for purchase on Seagate’s authorised online reseller platforms, including Amazon, Flipkart, and others, starting November 30 in India. Each drive can be purchased for Rs 6,999. The special edition drives include Seagate’s three years of limited warranty and Rescue Data Recovery Services, respectively.
Paying homage to T’Challa (aka Black Panther), Shuri, and Okoye, these special edition HDDs deliver one-of-a-kind pieces of Marvel artwork to fans and highlight traits of the characters with customisable RGB LED lighting. Its magenta colour is to honour Black Panther; cyan represents the innovative style of Princess Shuri; and yellow represents the elite strength of the warrior, Okoye.

The FireCuda external HDDs are compatible with PC, Mac, PlayStation, and Xbox so that users can access media, files, and games, regardless of operating system with up to 2TB of capacity.
USB is bus-powered and designed with a USB 3.2 Gen1 connection for universal compatibility and quick transfer speeds. ‘Bus powered’ USB connected devices don’t require an external power source.
Seagate has also introduced the King of Wakanda Special Edition FireCuda External HDD for the Asia-Pacific region. With the same features described above, this drive also presents a unique design of T’Challa gazing upon his kingdom, along with magenta RGB LED lighting that owners can customise.
