Shah Rukh Khan is all set to be back on the big screen after four years with Pathaan. The film also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
Director Siddharth Anand has commented quite recently on a leading entertainment portal on how Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan share a crackling chemistry in the film. He also mentioned how this would indeed be Deepika Padukone’s hottest and coolest role yet, all at the same time.
He mentioned, “Deepika Padukone is up there with the biggest of superstars in the history of Hindi cinema. And we knew we had written a role for her in Pathaan that is not only breathtaking but also justifies her superstardom. Pathaan will showcase her in probably her hottest and at the same time, the coolest self.”
Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan have previously starred together in Om Shanti Om and Chennai Express and they are indeed one of the most loved onscreen couples ever. Siddharth Anand shared his thoughts on the couple, stating, “The on-screen Jodi of Deepika and Shah Rukh Khan is probably one of the biggest pairings that Indian cinema has ever seen, given their incredible successes in the past. And in Pathaan we have presented SRK and DP in a way that’s unprecedented.”
Furthermore, he added, “They have electric chemistry with each other and they look just so hot together. It’s rare to find a pairing like theirs and their Jodi is a huge USP for Pathaan.”
