On Wednesday, six months after his untimely passing, the microblogging app Instagram paid tribute to late actor Sidharth Shukla. Sidharth’s Instagram account had a remembering tag added to his bio, which made fans cry and prompted them to start writing messages with the hashtag ‘#SidharthShuklaLivesOn.’
Sidharth, who rose to fame following his win on Bigg Boss 13 in 2019, passed away in September 2021 at the age of 40. Several fans expressed their sadness as Instagram memorialised his account with heartfelt remarks. “Tears won’t stop somehow,” one person tweeted, while another said, “You are everything but a memory to me!!” To put it another way, you are an emotion, a feeling that will linger on within me till my last breath and beyond. Happy to know his IG account will live on forever.”
“Idk how many times this thought crosses my mind that eventually people will forget you or maybe won’t talk about you or remember you as much as they do now but for me, you’ll continue to live on.. be it 6 months, years or 60 years or even more. I miss u Sid.” another fan tweeted.
Apart from the online series Broken But Beautiful 3, Sidharth Shukla had starred in prominent TV shows such as Balika Vadhu and Dil Se Dil Tak. Fans affectionately referred to him and another Bigg Boss contestant Shehnaaz Gill as ‘SidNaaz.’
