Simon Cowell, 63, has made no secret of his passion for pursuing youth in the past, with Botox and fillers having been among his toolkit. However, it’s now been suggested that the latest weapon in his arsenal is a facemask from South Korea.
However, Simon is the first major name in the UK who has publicly been mentioned as a user of the product.
A source who is reportedly close to the music mogul recently told Mail Online: “He’s a big fan and has been turning his friends and colleagues onto them as well.”
Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Simon for comment.
The mask is a combination of a gel and a serum which is painted onto the skin.
Users need to avoid eating and drinking for at least 30 minutes following application, to give the product an opportunity to set.
“I looked like something out of a horror film. Eric was in hysterics [so] enough was enough,” he added to The Sun.
He previously tried out a non-surgical face lift, which involves “sewing bioplastic-infused thread” into the skin, but admitted he found it painful.
That treatment has also been used by the Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson in the UK and, over in the USA, actress turned new age blogger Gwyneth Paltrow.
Simon has been making headlines this month for further changes in his appearance, including gleaming white teeth and smoother skin.
He admitted during a recent appearance on Loose Women that he looks to son Eric for inspiration with everything he does.
“[When] I watch [my shows] before they go out, I’m kinda looking at Eric in the corner of my eye thinking ‘does he like something? Does he not like something?’ Annoyingly, he’s normally right,” Simon joked.
He also vowed to stay away from surgical beauty treatments after his son found his new look difficult to recognise.
Simon added fondly that Eric is already “his own man”.
